Beverley Dale
Since entering her first dog obedience competition in 1981, Bev has held a lifelong passion for animal training, welfare, and rehabilitation. She is a qualified canine behaviourist, and has over 25 years of invaluable practical experience working with numerous rescue organisations as a behavioural consultant. In addition to competing with her own dogs at Crufts and Olympia, Bev has proudly watched many dogs she helped rehabilitate qualify for, and compete at the worlds biggest dog show. "Despite having successfully competed in agility, obedience, working trials & flyball, I've yet to beat the feeling of helping a troubled dog grow in confidence and become a much loved family companion. I really believe in building positive foundations, and love to watch animals gather confidence and knowledge as they learn. I relish the challenge of helping them become the best they can be." |
James Amor
James has been actively involved in dog training and canine care since 1994, when he began training and competing for Kennel Club Field Trials. Having switched to Kennel Club Agility in 2004, he is now extremely active in all aspects of dog agility; co-owning and instructing at Fylde Agility, competing most weekends (often at KC Championship Level), and is a qualified Kennel Club Agility Judge. James currently owns two Border Collies, but has trained and handled a wide variety of breeds including gundogs and terriers - he understands the various challenges that the learning styles of each breed present, and loves working with dogs, regardless of shape and size! "I believe the three most important components of dog training are motivation, motivation, and motivation. Every dog has the potential to improve, and I believe the key to unlocking this potential is for the dog to think that a fun game just got better. I love to watch the dog gain confidence, the handler gain confidence, and then the partnership progress - I get a real buzz from being part of this process." |
